At Waves of Grace Church, our faith is centered on Jesus Christ and the good news of the Kingdom of God. We seek to be a church shaped by Scripture, empowered by the Holy Spirit, gathered around the Lord’s Table, and committed to living as faithful disciples of Jesus in our community and world.

The Triune God
We believe in one God-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit-eternally existing as three Persons, one in being. glory, and majesty. God is Creator and Lord of all things and is gracious. merciful, faithful, holy, loving, patient, and just.
THE GOD WE WORSHIP
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, the eteral Son of God who became flesh for us and for our salvation. He was concerved by the holy spirit, born of the virgin mary, lived withou sin, proclaimed and embodied the Kingdom of God, died for our sins, was bodily raised from the dead, ascended to the Father and reigns as Lord.
We believe Jesus will come again to judge the living and the dead, complete His Kingdom, raise the dead, and renew creation.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who gives life, draws people to Christ, indwells believers, forms us into the likeness of Jesus, equips the Church with spiritual gifts, and empowers us to participate in God's mission.

We believe the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God and the authoritative witness for Christian faith and life. Through Scripture we come to know God's story, His character, His purposes, and ultimately Jesus Christ.

THE WORD & THE WAY OF GRACE
Salvation by Grace
We believe salvation is the gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. Through Christ's death and resurrection, sin and death have been defeated, forgiveness is offered, and we are reconciled to God.

Grace does not simply forgive us—it begins transforming us. Those who belong to Christ are called to a lifelong journey of repentance, faith, holiness, love, and discipleship.
The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, a community called by God to worship, fellowship, prayer, discipleship, service and mission.

Following the pattern of Acts 2:42, we devote ourselves to the apostles' teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer.

The Church does not exist simply to attract crowds. Jesus calls us to make disciples
LIFE TOGETHER
Baptism
We believe baptism is the sign of our union with Christ, identifying us with His death and resurrection and welcoming us into the covenant community of God's people.
The Lord's Table
We believe Holy Communion is central to the gathered life of the Church. When we break bread and share the cup, we remember and proclaim Christ's death and resurrection, receive His grace with thanksgiving, and celebrate our unity as His people.

For this reason, the Lord's Table is a regular and meaningful part of our worship at Waves of Grace.
OUR HOPE
The Kingdom of God
We believe the Kingdom of God was inaugurated through Jesus Christ and will one day be fully revealed when He returns.

Because Jesus is Lord, Christians are called to live as signs of His Kingdom now-pursuing love, mercy, justice, reconciliation, holiness compassion. and peace
The Resurrection and New Creation
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Our Christian hope is not simply leaving this world behind, but God's ultimate renewal of His creation when Christ makes all things new.
OUR CALLING
Receiving grace.
Carrying grace.
We believe every follower of Jesus is called to love God, love our neighbor, make disciples, care for those who are hurting, and bear witness to Christ through both our words and our lives.

Here on Florida's coast, we have a particular heart for surfers, watermen and women, first responders, families, the grieving, and our beachside communities.
​
We want to be a people who receive God's grace deeply and then carry that grace wherever He sends us.
